On behalf of the EmpowerNext Foundation, it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to this year’s training program. We are excited to embark on this transformative journey with you as part of our mission to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s digital economy.

At the EmpowerNext Foundation, our vision is clear: to be the leading catalyst for youth empowerment through digital and professional skills across Africa. Guided by this vision, our mission is to deliver comprehensive, inclusive, and high-quality training that prepares you for the careers of the 21st century.

Our work is anchored in strong core values—empowerment, excellence, integrity, inclusion, innovation, and community impact. These values shape every activity we undertake and reflect our commitment to supporting your personal and professional growth.

This year, our objectives are both ambitious and achievable. In the short term, we aim to train 200 youth across 15 critical digital and professional skill areas, launch a digital learning platform alongside two physical hubs, and build strategic partnerships with leading organizations. Our goal is that at least 30% of our graduates will secure meaningful work or internships within six months of completing the program. Looking further ahead, we aspire to expand our reach to over 5,000 youth across multiple regions, establish a recognized certification and job-placement network, and introduce advanced fields such as artificial intelligence and blockchain into our curriculum.

To ensure clarity and direction, we have developed a structured timeline for the 2025 program. The year will begin with staff recruitment and curriculum development, followed by student outreach and onboarding in March. The first training cohort of 100 students will take place from April to June, after which we will conduct a mid-year review in July. The second cohort will run from August to October, leading to a capstone project showcase in November. We will close the year in December with graduation ceremonies, final reporting, and a Partner Summit to celebrate achievements and share impact.

As participants, you play an essential role in making this journey successful. We encourage you to approach every training session, mentorship opportunity, and project with curiosity, discipline, and a commitment to excellence.
